1/20 HP DIAPHRAGM AIR COMPRESSOR KIT for small ponds. This small, continuous duty pump is ideal for aeration of smaller, shallower ponds. 1/20 HP compressor will operate to a depth of 12'. Compressor draws 1 amp electricity and pumps .7 CFM of air.

1/4 HP HIGH VOLUME ROTARY VANE COMPRESSOR KIT for ponds one acre or larger or two smaller ponds. Produces 4.2 CFM of air, draws 5 amps (@115v). Available in 115 or 230 volt. Please specify when ordering. All units shipped 115v. unless specified 230v.

These rotary vane air compressor kits pump considerably more air than the air pumps. Rotary vane pumps do not operate as deep as the diaphragm and piston pumps — maximum operating depth is 18'. The 1/4 HP model pumps 4.2 CFM of air compared to 1.5 CFM with the 1/4 HP piston compressor. This larger volume of air will increase circulation and oxygen levels for faster cleaning of the pond’s bottom. The 1/4 HP rotary vane kit is recommended for ponds from one to two acres, but it often is used in ponds less than one acre if high fish population, exceptionally poor water conditions or heavy nutrient buildup exists. The 3/4 HP models are recommended for ponds two to four acres while the 1 HP is used in ponds larger than three acres. High pressure kits are also available for aeration in water over 18' deep

• Use 3/8" or 1/2" on air line runs up to 500'.
• Use 5/8" on individual lines from 500' to 900'
• Use 3/4" on runs over 900' or when larger than normal amounts of air is needed.

The tubing sinks to the bottom on it's own so you don't need to tie bricks or weights to make the tubing sink out of sight like standard PVC tubing which floats when filled with air.
